I think Live is better in this aspect.Īnimations in Live have gotten a lot better, but it's still an area of struggle for them. This element isn't horrible in 2K, but players do appear to glide across the floor without the kind of resistance and grip that wood should create. I love the way players plant, turn and change directions in Live. 2K again has better lighting, but the floors in Live look so real, it seems like you can touch them through the screen. The uniforms don't have the necessary density and look more like body paint than a garment.īoth games do a great job bringing the NBA's arenas to life. Live player models all seem to suffer from some sort of shoulder deficiency. While 2K could stand to expand the number of physiques, the ones that are in their game are at least realistic.
